New Fee on International Connections in Peru Could Change the Game for Those Stopping in Lima From October 27th, Jorge Chávez International Airport, in Lima, will start charging US$12.67 (about R$69) from all passengers on connecting international flights. ️ According to the administration, part of the amount will be used for improvements to the terminal, while another part will be passed on to the government for investments in other airports in the country. Payment will not be included in the ticket: it must be made on an online platform, at airport counters or with agents. The concessionaire is still considering integrating the rate automatically in the future. The change is already having effects on the airline sector: Latam canceled the Lima–Havana route, scheduled to end in March 2026. Sky Airline also recently closed the Lima–Cancún route. Avoid mistakes that could delay or harm your case. ️ Seek guidance from an immigration lawyer. Links and, like and comment
