Brazil offers a specific visa and residence permit for artists and athletes who come to the country to carry out artistic or sporting activities through fixed-term contracts, without establishing an employment relationship with a Brazilian individual or legal entity. People who intend to participate in exhibitions, shows, presentations, sporting competitions or similar events must obtain a temporary visa for these purposes, if they are outside Brazil, or a residence permit, if they are already in the country. This authorization also extends to coaches and auxiliary professionals who support artists or athletes. The request requires documents such as a detailed contract and others that prove the terms, remuneration and responsibilities of the parties involved.
