Yes, it is possible. Luxembourg offers a route to citizenship by descent, which can be a great option for those who have Luxembourgish ancestors. If you are a descendant of a Luxembourg citizen, you do not need to reside in Luxembourg. If you have a Luxembourgish parent or grandparent, you also would not need to go to Luxembourg to complete the citizenship process. If your father/mother or grandparent died without having obtained Luxembourg citizenship, but would be an eligible person to apply for recognition of Luxembourg citizenship if they were still alive. In this case, the process would take place in Brazil and then in Luxembourg.
