In Brazil, more than 300 peoples keep their cultures, languages and ways of life alive, despite countless historical violations of their rights. This is a day to reaffirm the commitment to the demarcation of lands and protection of existing ones, respect for their leaders and the appreciation of ancestral knowledge and the protection they promote for the environment.
