Overview

A recent study conducted by Embratur, in partnership with Visa and Ipsos, reveals that 94% of international visitors rated their experience in Brazil as either “good” or “very good.” This high approval shows the country’s reputation as a warm, diverse, and welcoming destination, with respondents particularly praising its hospitality, quality of accommodation, and gastronomy. The survey gathered responses from more than 8,000 tourists from five key markets, Argentina, Chile, USA, Portugal, and Uruguay, which together account for nearly 60% of Brazil’s international tourist flow. Notably, the motivations for visiting were strongly tied to Brazil’s natural appeal: 75% cited beaches as their main reason, 63% mentioned nature, and 55% were drawn by competitive pricing In addition, Brazil is increasingly recognised as a friendly country for immigration, offering a variety of opportunities and streamlined processes for those seeking to live, work, invest or study in the country.
