Overview
If an investor, an individual, is looking for opportunities and to be able to reside in Brazil with resources of foreign origin, it is necessary to know that there are three different investor visa options, which are: 1. Visa for Investors with Investments of R$500,000 or more: The investment must be in an existing and eligible company in Brazil with a project whose potential can generate jobs or income in Brazil. It is a visa for entrepreneurs who wish to establish themselves in Brazil with the aim of investing in innovative, scientific or technological activities. The period of residence is indefinite (permanent). 2. Visa for Investors with Investments between R$150,000 and R$500,000: Similar to the first type, but with an additional legal step. If the entrepreneur wishes to invest less than R$500,000, the law requires a specific procedure with prior approval from public authorities. The period of residence is indefinite (permanent). 3. Visa for Real Estate Investor with Minimum Investment of R$1,000,000: For individuals looking to invest in real estate properties. Additionally, there is the opportunity for a discount of up to 30% on the minimum investment value for properties located in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil. The residence period for this visa is up to 4 years and can be renewed or transformed into an indefinite period.
