In Brazil, priests must go to the nearest public school and request their child's registration, taking both their own identification documents and the child's documents at the time of enrollment to generate a Student Registration Number.

Overview

In Brazil, parents must go to the nearest public school and apply to enroll their child, bringing both their own identification documents and those of the child at the time of enrollment to generate a Student Registration Number. Migrant children without additional documents, such as a birth certificate or school record, must still be enrolled without discrimination. Adults who did not complete their studies at the appropriate age can also access specific courses. Those over 15 years old can complete primary education, while those over 18 can complete secondary education through EJA or CEEJA. In addition, migrants can take the entrance exam to begin a career at a university or access vocational training through PRONATEC, which offers courses to improve their opportunities in the labor market.
